1. Who we are

Pass First Time (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website at passfirsttime.co.uk. We help UK learner drivers prepare for their practical driving test. For privacy enquiries contact us at feedback@passfirsttime.co.uk.

2. Data we collect and why

Account data — when you sign up via Clerk we collect your email address and name. This is used solely to identify your account and gate access to paid content.

Subscription & payment data — we store a clerk_id, your subscription plan type, status, and billing dates in our Supabase database. We do not store full card details; those are handled by Stripe directly.

Payment & billing information — Stripe processes your payment and holds your billing address and card details under their own privacy policy. We receive only a customer ID and subscription status from Stripe.

Usage data — we do not currently run analytics beyond standard server request logs provided by Vercel (our hosting platform). These logs contain IP addresses and are retained per Vercel's standard policy.

As a UK resident you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Deletion — ask us to delete your account and associated data.
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests.

5. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication (set by Clerk). We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. A full cookie policy will be published before any marketing activity that requires it.
