1. Who we are
Pass First Time (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website at passfirsttime.co.uk. We help UK learner drivers prepare for their practical driving test. For privacy enquiries contact us at feedback@passfirsttime.co.uk.
2. Data we collect and why
Account data — when you sign up via Clerk we collect your email address and name. This is used to identify your account and manage access to paid content.
Subscription and payment data — we store a Clerk account ID, subscription plan, status and billing dates in our Supabase database. Stripe processes card and billing details; we do not store full card details.
Optional measurement and campaign data — only if you choose analytics and advertising cookies, we may record a random browser ID, Google click ID, UTM campaign fields, landing-page path, timestamps, sign-up/checkout/purchase events, and links to your account or Stripe payment where available. We do not intentionally send your name, email address, full URL query string, or checkout secret to Google measurement tools.
Service and security data — our hosting providers may process standard request and security logs, which can include IP addresses, under their own retention arrangements.
3. Cookies and your choices
Clerk may set strictly necessary cookies for authentication and security. Google measurement and advertising tags are optional: they are not loaded unless you explicitly opt in. Choosing not to opt in does not affect access to the service. You can withdraw or change your choice at any time; withdrawal prevents future optional measurement and asks Google tags to stop using optional storage.
4. Third-party processors
We rely on the following providers to operate the service. They process data only as needed for their services and their own documented terms:
- Clerk — authentication and account management. Privacy policy

- Resend — transactional email. Privacy policy
- Vercel — hosting and edge network. Privacy policy
- Google — Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads only when you opt in. Privacy policy
5. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK residents can ask to access, correct, erase, restrict, or receive their personal data, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent for optional measurement. To make a request, email feedback@passfirsttime.co.uk.
You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how we handle your data.
